30 days. No soda. No alcohol. Challenge
I know, I know, this is not a typical challenge for tech people, BUT in order to start the year well, you have to feel well. And therefore the first challenge of the year is linked to your health.
So let's take the DRY January challenge (which involves being sober for 30days) a bit further and also restrict our self from sugary beverages and replace those with water.
What's the benefit of this stupid challenge of not drinking alcohol nor sodas ?
Well there are a lot: Better sleep, Better dental health, Better Sex, Improved energy, Reduced risk of type 2 diabetes, Improved heart health, Improved blood pressure and many more (Source: verywellfit.com)
And parallel to that you will be losing weight & saving money.
As tech people, we tend to neglect our own well-being:
We are not moving a lot through the day, we tend to like sugary beverages a way too much, and we rarely sit straight.
